ASIE MERIDIONALE INDE ANGLAISE ET INDO CHINE
Date: 1860 Paris
Size: 36*47 cms
Very attractive and uncommon map of India and Malaya, The map uses colouyr to delineate the different possesions of the English, The East India Company, THe French and the Portuguese.
One of the most striking and well engraved maps of India and Southeast Asia from the mid-19th Century. I particularly like Garniers use of piano key borders.
Garnier's maps are prized for the engraving quality and delicate coloring.
Excellent condition for this very decorative map
